Therese hadn’t been to the Louvre – so after “American” breakfast we headed straight there, which was only a couple of minutes from the hotel. We managed to spend about four hours in there before maxing out. Lots of pictures of “JC” looking pretty hacked off.
.
… and yes, we saw the “Mona Lisa”
But we also saw what she sees
After that it was off for some food (in Paris not easy) but settled on Lebanese (nice!). Then off to Pantheon and Therese’s recommendation. This pendulum tells the time … all the time … using the rotation of the earth!
Whilst I was marvelling at ingenious physics, Therese was busy posing for album covers
After freshening up, it was off for (surprise) Pizza and Pasta – then to Willi’s Wine Bar. Very nice
