Storm from Hell

Last night, the storm which had been underway for over 24 hours got even more intense. There was an electrical storm circulating above us for over 5 hours.

Here’s why …

Although it was dark, the clouds repeatedly lit up as the electricity discharged. We helped our neighbours get their awning down (along with a couple of others) and all stood outside in the eye of the storm watching the lightning and drinking wine.. It created some very strange lighting conditions.

Around 2AM it calmed down. The rain continued but the wind subsided. The visit to Valencia was cancelled since the storm was up there too. We now head a little South. The weather is similar – however there’s more sun or calm spells. It should all be over by Monday.
