Saturday is elected as gardening day, with the prediction of the weather being worst today.
That all changes around 8AM when water starts to appear on the living room ceiling. We have a leak under the bath.
Easy to fix … looks like a valve has just got itself in a mess and needs adjusted. Unfortunately that’s not the case … it’s a leaking regulator for the shower. Which means, until we get it fixed, adjusting the valve by fumbling under the floorboards when we want a shower.
Unplanned chore out the way, we get a considerable amount of weeding and planting done. A trip to the gym follows then cocktails, wine and home made asian food.
Next day it’s off early (after playing with the valves for the shower) to the North Yorkshire Moors. The weather holds out enough to give us mild sunburn.
Ingleby to the moors, along the Cleveland way, down to Battersby and back. Around 7.5 miles. Followed by a pint.
